One of the challenges of modern web development is designing a responsive web site. Responsive web design (RWD) uses newer CSS techniques like media queries and fluid grids to adapt your page for various dimensions. Instead of designing for a single screen size, we are now designing for multiple screen sizes, from smart phones to tablets to desktops. Unfortunately, many of our standard design tools were not created for this new world.
Publicly shown last year, Adobe Edge Reflow is a new tool created to fill this gap in our design workflow.
For most companies, there are many opportunities to reinforce their brand from business cards and letterhead, to websites, applications and promotional material. While the design of these artifacts of branding usually merit focused volumes of their own, the projects presented in Absolute Stationery Design represent campaigns that are so strong and cohesive that none of the individual parts need be removed. The context enhances the overall vision, providing encouragement for future generations. As designers continually challenge themselves to find new sources of inspiration for their clients, new printing techniques evolve that allow for new combinations of graphic output, with the end result being an expanded tool kit we all can utilize. Arts organizations, fashion designers, and software developers alike have access to this knowledge now through the skilled hands of an international roster of brilliant designers.

Non uso mai pubblicare articoli altrui ma con Stefano Meneghetti voglio fare un eccezione. Il suo blog presenta infatti un’interessante teoria sul colore e il suo utilizzo per la creazione di una brand identity aziendale.
An outtakes recorded in late 1994. The LP sleeve cover was designed by myself for Destination X Records, an historic underground label of Bologna, with an Apple FX II.
Nonymous, a cover taken by a Back From The Grave, was initially recorded for the LP “Supermegaengine” while What’s the word? was recorded for this compilation with a DAT without any remixing or sound improvements. Scanna (the label boss) was quite disappointed about this choice but we never care about quality. Our band was lo-fi, that’s all.
